My cat is a 9 kilo (nearly 20 pound) brute, he'd probably take my leg off if I tried that on him. He's a marshmallow, but lets his feelings be known.

I'm not going to lie...I do this to one of my cats. My female is far to cat-like to allow it, but my male, he'll pretty much let you do anything to him. He'll just lay there like a sack of potatoes...ah, Ragdolls.

I really think the ragdoll would let me do it but I don't have any cute hats.

Yes, ragdolls are fantastic in that aspect. I may or may not have tried some baby clothes on him as well. FYI the 12 month clothes are a bit tight on him...he's a big boy.

I just checked and don't have pictures on my phone, they must be on DH's phone. I'll get some and post later. It is freakin' adorable. It's so funny, when I put something on him I'll stick one arm through and then just flop him over to his other side to put the other arm through. No resisting whatsoever.

He looks like our Teddy! We found him a few months ago at the shelter and the vet told us he was a ragdoll. He's a sweetie!

:wavey: amc80!!! Thanks!!!

I love him in that outfit!!! :appl: So cute!

I have the worlds worst memory, but I'm pretty sure when my sister and I were little, we would dress up our cat in 'baby' clothes as well

OMG.

My mum bought a set of reindeer ears at Xmas that were supposed to be for a small dog but she put them on her cat. The cap and ear part are a perfect match colour wise and they Velcro on under his chin. He doesn't like them too much and when you put him down he goes backwards. He looks like a moon walking miniature reindeer. 8)

So a thread on cats wearing tiny hats... the day after reading "The Cat In The Hat Comes Back" by Dr Seuss.

So I sit on the computer and wonder what to say

In response to cats in hats - on this cold winter day

Perhaps it is best if I just go out and play

But, before I leave to have some fun

I need to watch for Cat Z - even in the sun

Hard to see, Cat Z is so tiny

but the voom is so loud that even the British would say - oh blimy.

Have a great day, thats all I will say,

Unitil I come back another day

I have a whole array of tiny clothing for my bunny. The little plastic hats you get at the ballpark that ice cream comes in are just a tad too big for her, but she has a collection. She's a Texas Rangers fan so she has the red cap, blue cap, AND a special pink cap. I don't have pictures of her in one on this computer though, sadly. She also has a cowboy hat and a hockey helmet. That's not even getting into her holiday costumes or school spirit outfits. She's really quite a good bunny to put up with it.
