Where to buy pearls in the UK?

I'm in the UK and really want a nice pair of small (6-6.5mm) Akoya earrings (studs). I previously ordered Freshadamas in a larger size from Pearl Paradise, which I love, but shipping ($45) and a huge amount of taxes means it's just unfeasible to do again. I'm struggling to find a decent UK company.

Blue Nile UK do have some - are their pearls any good? We have a Mikimoto store too but they are more expensive. Or any other suggestions?

I have not done business with this company but I know several people who have and I have seen pearls that they have gotten from her at Pearl Paradise RUCKUS. She is well respected and highly thought of on that forum. Here is Her information. If you do not see what you are looking for on her website I would email her.
