This is a really common concern in early pregnancy BB! I found that the symptoms come and go, you have good days and bad days, good hours and bad hours. Especially early on. Once you are further, like closer to 8/10 weeks, that is when it becomes more consistent, but even then there is variation. This was my experience in both my pregnancies.

I'm thinking of you and hope to hear some good updates soon!

Monkey, I'm no charting master, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Let me know how you're holding up. I don't have much longer to go, just past a week to get through my LP. If I don't get AF, I think I'll still wait the full 2 wks until I try testing.

Thanks, ladies, for the good thoughts. Right now I feel very zen, because either way, I'll be happy. Thrilled if we do get KU, and happy I'll get another cycle for my body to normalize. So right now I'm in a win-win. I'm just happy I O'd.

Every pregnancy is different, but I did injectables and got KU with them, and had basically zero symptoms at all. I now have a very healthy 5 month old! Your betas are looking really good. All the best to you and hang in there! I am an extreme worrier too, so I totally understand.

I hope you got good news today BB! I am thinking about you.
I also had disappearing symptoms and remember crying in the shower 1 day when my boobs suddenly did not hurt. I wrote on the just a really pregnant thread about frantically groping myself hoping my boobs would hurt when I realized the symptom had just disappeared.

I just want to say good luck to BB and sending you positive dust for your pregnancy.

Also, Lizzy I'm really sorry to hear about the latest m/c! You have a lot more courage than I could ever phantom anyone having. Good luck with the new cycle and hopefully your RE will be able to help you sustain your next pregnancy.

LC- I'm glad you are getting more familiar with your cycle. Good luck and I hope your body flushes out the bc completely really soon!! Starting the ttc process is so confusing but you will be a cycle expert in no time!

Good news girls, I got a hb today! The fetal hb was 127, my RE says that is great. He converted it into sound so that we could hear it. They gave us a pile of pregnancy magazines, a bottle of sparkling cider and told me that I have graduated to an OB. I am thrilled! Thanks everyone for your support during this stressful time!

Wonderful BB! And boy, it just goes to show how unpredictable early development is, eh? I suppose the doctors were trying to be defenisve pessimists in the last few weeks with you, but poop I wish they had not scared you so much for what turned out to be no reason!

Thanks everyone! We are so excited. We broke the good news to close family and friends yesterday. It was really fun. I did find out that my MIL had already told DH's siblings even though she was told about the pregnancy last week and was asked not to tell anyone b/c of the chances of a m/c. In case I forgot why I never liked her.... We haven't called to tell her the good news b/c I am pretty miffed right now.

Hi ladies, I am joining this thread! Husb and I have just had our first anniversary, but have been "ready" in so many ways for a long time - we have put off trying due to work stuff (well, he has been waiting for my "go-ahead" so to speak) but the tipping point has come as I am 31 and ultimately all I really want is a family!

Timing in terms of career is bad but if I waited for that then I would be 34 before starting trying!

So here we go...

I have just come off the OCP and am waiting to see what my cycles do. I never had regular cycles before going on the OCP (12 years ago, eek!) so am a bit worried about post-pill amenorrhoea and whether I'll actually ovulate.

I have not told anyone but a family friend (who is a fertility specialist) and one of my best friends so I hope that this little PS community will help me ride the highs and lows along the way

I am using one of those salivary ovulation indicators... So far 3 weeks since last AF and no ferns yet, but I guess it's early days!

AFM, we had a busy but GREAT weekend. My DS's 2nd birthday party was on Saturday and today we went and visited all of the Grandma's. The weather was beautiful! This morning I had a negative OPK, but this afternoon I took another one (which I normally don't do, but I had a feeling that I should take another one) and I got a so DH and I will have a little action tonight and the next two days. Today is CD 18 for me and usually I O between CD 13- CD 16 so this was a little later due to the m/c last cycle. Usually I start BD'ing a couple days before but I had no idea when to expect O this time so hopefully we can still catch the egg!!!

Lizzy, fantastic you O'd!!! Get your action in! I hope you get some quality sessions in before you DH's trip. Have you picked up your progrestrone as well? Happy birthday to your DS!!! So glad you guys had a nice weekend! You guys totally deserved it. Hope your DS's party was easy with kiddos running around, but I guess you can say it's good practice wrangling multiple kiddos. Something in me thinks you'll be a natural though...

pancake, WELCOME! I also had a long stint on HBC, 12 years as well. I'm hoping your stay here is short. Can you tell me a little bit about the salivary OPKs? I never heard of those.

AFM, 7DPO. I'm not planning to test until 14DPO. But if I do get AF it should be soon. My birthday is next Sunday, so a little part of me is hoping that I get an awesome b-day present. But right now I'm happy to just be done with this cycle.

BB, I'm so sorry your MIL spilled the beans...I'm actually really annoyed about that because how often do you get to share such exciting news? It wasn't her news to share! Grrr! I'm still giddy with excitement for you, though!

Pancake, welcome!! I know it never seems like the "perfect" time, which is why you just have to jump in. It's always great to have a new face in here--I hope your transition off of BC is smooth and your stay here is short!

LizzyAnn, I'm so glad you had such a great weekend and that you got a smiley on your OPK! Good thing you tested again!

LC, my birthday is next Sunday, too, how funny is that? I'm hoping we BOTH get good news for our birthdays this year

AFM, I was expecting AF to arrive this weekend (had a temp drop a few days ago), but then my temp shot back up to the mid-98s. I knew there was NO chance of me being pregnant given my original O date (CD16) so I got frustrated. Today my temp rose again to 99.1 and FF moved my O date to last Saturday (CD25). At this point, I don't know what to think, but CD25 puts me in line with my last two cycles. And, more importantly, we BDed last Saturday night and Sunday, so I may have JUST made the window.

If FF is right, then I'm sitting at 8DPO. My LP is usually 14 days, but I may start testing at 11DPO. Not sure. I thought I was out this cycle, so this is a bit of a surprise.

Pancake, welcome! Good to have you, but I hope you don't have to hang out in this thread very long! I too am TTC at a less than ideal time career-wise, but like you, having a family is more important to me.

NEL, hmm, very intriguing surprise. I hope you're new O day is right and that you were able to get your bd'ing just in time. That second rise in temps is promising. A BFP would be an awesome b-day present.

LC, I hope you get a BFP for an early b-day present too!

Katy, where are you at on your wait! It would be so awesome if we had a string of BFPs this month!

Brown, I've lost track of where you are in your cycle, but I hope all is well with you too.

AFM, I think I'm about about 5 dpo, and my LP has been about 12 days the previous two months. Temps are still a little less than desireable, so I'm not all that hopeful that this is my month, but you never know. I'll wait to test until next Saturday or Sunday.

Hi ladies... i posted on the other TTC thread not realizing i was meaning to post on this one!

So... I have PCOS... we found out in November, but ive always suspected that something was weird. Anyways my doctor UPed my dose again of Metformin from 1500mg to 2000mg a day now. the last real peiod i have gotten was in October... and i had a fake bleed in December... and have been on metformin since March 4th..and now 2 month later on being on metformin i still havent gotten it. My Endo said that by August (my next appt) that my PCOS should be under control... even now my labs have improved alot from March and that now I have to go to my OBGYN to see whats wrong since it isnt just PCOS... now im starting to freak out. I go to my MILs practice so she was nice enough to have them move stuff around and take more patients so I could go see one of the Drs there this time instead of the PA i saw before on Friday. I always like to research any possibilities before i go in so i can understand anything they might think could be wrong but in this case I have no idea what to research because i dont know what else could be causing me to not get my period! Has anyone else dealth with this?? I have no idea what to even think.. Does anyone have any ideas??

Hi blondebunny, I don't have any advice for you unfortunately, but I'm really sorry that you are going through all of that and haven't found any answers yet. Most of the regular posters on this thread are just starting to TTC, so we probably won't be that great of a resource for you, but maybe there are some lurkers who have experienced this. Hopefully your doctor will have some ideas for you and suggest some tests you can have done that will give you some answers.
