how much are you paying for gas in your area?

It's becoming so traumatic watching the price gauge go up that I wait till my low fuel light comes on before filling up.

I'm still using my Fred Meyer rewards card so for the lowest-grade regular it's $3.81 and then 10 cents off = $3.71. That's the cheapest I found. The rest are around $3.81-4.09 for low-grade.

Actually, MC, if it's traumatic watching the price go up and up, it makes more sense to refill your tank before it even hits the halfway mark; 5 gallons at 4.10 on April 13 plus 5 gallons at 4.40 on April 20th would be cheaper than 10 gallons at 4.40 on April 20th!

Haven't seen prices today (Australia has this infamous 'price cycle' which means prices go up by about 50 cents/gallon on the weekends and everyone accepts it placidly), but from a couple of days ago it was 1.40/litre. Swapped to gallons and USD, around $5.70/gallon.

3.59-$3.69 here depending on the station.
I coupon and combine my grocery shopping and gas buying so I get money off at the tank when I buy a certain amount at the store. (I make sure I get deals on groceries, too, another thing that is just RISING).
Maybe there are deals like that around where some of you live.I will get 40 cents off per gallon next time I gas but who knows what it will cost by then? (currently have a full tank, got 20 cents off per gallon last time I filled up).

The cheapest gas I could find in my area (rural northwestern NJ) was $3.43. I've seen it as high as $3.66 just a few miles down the road, and forget going to a Shell or other big name gas station...it's almost $3.78! I feel bad for the folks outside of NJ as it seems our gas is relatively cheap right now.

I don't know. I just don't look anymore.

It will only horrify me and it isn't like I can do anything about it, so I just put £50 in the tank every so often and try my best not to notice what it cost per litre or how long it lasts.

I drive as carefully as I can without inconveniencing people, and have a very fuel efficient car, so it could be worse. Beyond that, I try very hard not to stress about stuff I can't really change (without radical life changes that I'm not ready to make yet).

1.8 Euro/litre which makes a bit over 9 USD/US gal.
On my "regular" years I run nearly 20000miles/year, next month I'm running a bit over 180 miles/day.

Yep! (well, transplanted here since 1990 so I'm an honorary one )
I used to live in TO when I first moved to Canada, I'm in Alberta now, feeling bittersweet about the latest oil & gas boom here. Great for us in many ways because my SO just got back into engineering again with an oil company - not so thrilled because housing prices are going to spike and we want to build at the end of this year, I'd rather not pay $100,000 more for the same house
