Back in the late 90's my Mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer...her chances are survival were slim, but she beat the odds and as a celebratory gift, my father had a rose gold/yellow gold ribbon pin made for her with 3 diamonds signifying mind, body, spirit.
The piece itself is something I always loved, not because of the style or diamond shape, but because of the meaning behind it. Now, flash forward, on New Years Day my mom gave me the pin with her blessing to change it to fit my style more...so now I have a questions....
Half of the ribbon is rose gold, which I love--but it's not very pink/pink, which I'd probably prefer--and part of the ribbon is yellow gold. I would love to have it turned more pink including the yellow gold, is that possible? Or, would the entire piece have to be reconstructed?
