Our 3rd anniversary is coming up and last night I told my DH that he was not allowed to spend more than $50 on my present. Well, he said, "That''s too bad. I was going to get you a little play diamond you could roll around and look at, but I can''t do that with $50."

I was just thrilled anyway that he would have thought of something so perfect as my anniversary present, even if he can''t do it now. I really underestimate him sometimes!

That's so great! It's amazing how men can catch you off guard by doing something amazing, something beyond your wildest expectations now and again!

My boy is not always the most thoughtful of men on a daily basis, but he sure makes up for it when he does go out of his way to make me happy!
