If you were keys, where would you hide?

I'm notorious for throwing my keys in whatever shopping bag I'm bringing in the house. So I always check bags first.

After that, it's a mad hunt. They could be anywhere.

They're usually in the car when I can't find them.

Same here. Try looking in the ignition. That's where I found them the last time mine were lost.

Are they still missing?

I'd check the couch. My SO and his roommies lost their remote last year. They went months without it, until I got fed up and bought them a new one. Then, that one went missing. We did an all out manhunt in the couch, and we found: a sweatshirt, change, BOTH REMOTES, socks, a paperback book, and a hat. People sat on the couch every day, but no one realized that they were sitting on their own remote.

Besides that: behind the bed, in the fridge, car, and maybe even the trash. Eek.

under some papers on my desk... i didn't find them for about a week. also, i left my keys on the top of my car at Rutgers (!) for an entire day -- i guess i put them up there while i was fiddling around with stuff. thank god nobody stole my car! good luck on finding yours!!!
