Honeymoon Blues

Two months after our wedding, DH and finally found time to go on our honeymoon. We just came back from St. Martin''s and the blue waters were clear and gorgeous. It was like swimming in one huge, salty swimming pool. Of course I stopped at every jewlery shop in Phillipsburg. I have never seen so many blue diamonds in one place. They were irridiated diamonds, and the clarity was terrible, but the color reminded me of the Carribean waters, and the inclusions the sand and coral (whatever floats your boat right?)
I fell in love with an earring and ring set, and at a price I can live with.

The ring:
1.66 ct pear SI2 with 0.35ct halo pave

I never realized how much I liked pears until I saw all the beautiful pear pendants on this forum.

The earrings:
0.87 ctw SI2 with 0.12 ct halos

Thank you Amethyste, and you do sure know pears! I have to say that I love your new Lemony Pear reset, but your old halo Pear was amazing. In fact, it was yours and FancyDiamond''s halo pendant, and Somethingshiny''s teardrop pendant... and I can go on and on... that got me to fancy this Fancy shape.

Thank you about the compliment on my skin. I am very proud of my new tan. Working indoors for ages, I finally got some Vitamin D. I do wish I had gotten a manicure though, my nails are yellow stained from the chicken jerk curry!
