Lynn, I love your new setting! The fishtail is so very beautiful as well, but this one is equally as lovely. One of my first diamonds ring loves was a set my dear aunt had which was
very much like yours. I always thought I would get one like it one day, as hers passed to her other niece (drats!). When I got my rings I was blinded by love of bling. You ring
give me much warm fuzzies when I look at it!

Wear it in good health and happiness! It also looks HUGE on your oh-so-tiny finger! I so have finger envy as well!

It's a nice look for a change, and I'm glad to have the option. But right now (at least!) I think I am preferring the plain plat wedding band.

Me three! I just like the straight lines of this new setting. The shank of the new ring vs. old one doesn't look alot different to me - I'm sure it's because of the rounding of the new shanks. Can I just tell you how much I LOVE the little gap the donut creates? I just love that!!

Having the wband to wear is a nice option but I just like the plain platinum band the best. I just love the shiny metal and flash of your big 'ole diamond!!

Just checking - how many plunges into the ultrasonic has the ring had so far?

....a little trite maybe? but WOW!
like in my eyes got bigger and my
mouth dropped open and
my heart felt ...well skippy!

those gorgeous plat tubes with that one Freakin HUUUUGE diamond!
(and yes, this setting is like Diamond Viagra!) it just looks
BIGGER than ever!!! and i''ve sat next to you in a semi-dark theatre waiting on an ice
show and almost grabbed your hand to use as a flashlight to find something i dropped on the floor!
i know how that baby Sparkles and SHINES and dances IRL! (see attached homage i took on last year''s cruise in the self-same darkened theatre! if a ring can sparkle like that in the DARK!????)


anyway.....yes i was a long and twisty road but one of the things i love about you darling
(and there are TOO many to mention) is that you are TENACIOUS and you know your mind (as kwazy as it may seem to those who don''t know you! LOL)....and you are determined and you have an amazing aesthetic and purity about your tastes...which are impeccable!

and this ring is a NEW CLASSIC...both traditional AND contemporary? how did you do that?
both daring and simple? Cutting Edge Classic...looks great by itself, with it''s smooth wedding ring AND with the fishtail pave! AND ...have you dared yet?

worn all 3???? with the fishtail in the middle!??????????? [swoons] I WOULD!

grrrrl, you WENT BIG! and you don''t need to go home...ummm well, you know what i mean

Just ain''t nothin'' better than a squeaky clean diamond! I come home for lunch three out of five days a week with someone''s rings from work to clean. They are all turned on now to CLEAN diamonds! They also know I scope them - I''ve learned so much just from being able to look at different cuts and stuff!

My grandmother - who always said cleanliness was next to Godliness - also said: If it''s worth having, it''s worth taking care of. She was one SMART lady!!

You just keep on bathing that precious!

Its absolutely PERFECT!
I loved your pave setting so much!!! But, there is something about the classic, very chic, elegant solitaire setting that is just so GORGEOUS! My BF just purchased a stone from BGD and we are waiting for the setting, sure enough I decided on the classic solitaire setting over the Novela (pave) setting (trust me I was torn!!). It was a hard decision, but just like you said there is no distraction and you can see your beautiful BIG diamond! I cannot wait to get mine, should be done at the end of the week! Congrats on your new setting, and it looks dynamite with your pave wedding band and the plain one too! Love, Love, Love, the look of it! Super classy!

OK, I''ve had a couple requests for all 3 rings together. Here you go.

Honestly, not my favorite look... but I''m not much into stackers for myself, although I do like the look on others, especially people with those enviable long, slender fingers! Maybe I think my fingers are too short?!

(But probably the REAL reason is that you guys know I go to great pains

to get really thin shanks to help make my [ever-shrinking] diamond *POP!* ... it seems rather self-defeating to start stackin'' ''em up! But we all know I am sicksicksick!!!
