I''m so excited because this was shot in my city!
Who has seen it? What did you think?
Who has seen it? What did you think?
I didn''t want to spoil anything at all, but yes, this is true. After we watched the movie, my daughter (22) and I wondered why people wouldn''t get it or understand. We immediately caught on to real life parallels, and still enjoyed it immensely. We were very moved. I was shocked to learn it was filmed without a script for the most part. I put this one as one of the best movies I have seen this year, but I know others might disagree. It had depth beyond the entertainment value.Date: 9/6/2009 12:09:58 PM

It''s a great social commentary. I think it''s really clever, but apparently a few people didn''t get it.
I''m very proud of the director and cast though.
Very much so--provocative on many levels.Date: 9/6/2009 1:30:02 PM

Did anyone else feel sad at the end of the movie though?
I think the film was really well done and well acted and not what I was expecting. I did like the movie and got what it was trying to say, I just came out of it feeling really depressed and sad about the things they were obviously drawing parallels to. I don''t think I''d want to see it again, it hit a cord with me but I just find the movie too upsetting.Date: 9/6/2009 8:11:07 PM

Did anyone else feel sad at the end of the movie though? We were willing to accept the end as the end, but secretly hoped for a sequel. But it could just stay the way it is too, sometimes sequels water things down too much.

Two thumbs up from my boys, who are very into sci fi horror movies, especially with a ''raw'' type feel to them(Cloverfield, Blair Witch). I did close my eyes for the fingernail part. I''m wimpy when it comes to that stuff.
