I think HUGE rings are quite unattractive!! Gawdy..flashy..(just my own opinion though)

I'm thinking diamonds of about 10 carats or more are "obscenely too big"

If I could wear the "Star of Africa" diamond on my finger, I would. I personally wear diamonds more for my enjoyment than for others, and it gives me something special to look at all day long.

Probably most of us could afford a 4+ carat topaz or quartz ring, but I would venture to guess many of us choose not to wear one every day. Big, big rings are a matter of lifestyle and choice.

Nevertheless, I would love to see photos of that 5.66 ct oval!
