Can I please be added? I think I only have a couple of weeks to wait....I''m dying here. The worst part is that I got to try it on (the band) and then I had to give it back so BF to pick out a diamond this week. I growled at the jeweller and he laughed at me. The band is exactly what I wanted...EXACTLY!! Not too thick, not too thin. Double rows of pave...arg.

Hey there!

I need to be crossed off! We got engaged Thursday evening!! He so surprised me, which was exactly his plan. He actually spontaneously asked me in the middle of a conversation and I thought he was joking at first. Ha ha!! Our families are so thrilled, we''re already planning the wedding for THIS YEAR, and we picked a ring together, which is beautiful! I don''t have the stone yet -- we pick it tomorrow evening, but when I have the whole thing put together I will definitely post it on the show me the ring thread.

I thought I''d be hanging out here a lot longer than I did -- so I didn''t even have a chance to get to know people much. I''m so happy to have met the perfect man for me, and we just can''t wait to get married and "get on with it!"

AMA, girl, nobody understands you like I do right now.

The worst part of it all is I have just started a job with a company which has a surprisingly intense saturation of a particular religious group which is a bit infamous for marrying young. So now every day when I''m at work, someone inevitably asks me how long we''ve been dating (just making small talk, you know)... and when I respond, "almost two years" they have a total FREAK OUT. "HOLY CRAP, WHEN ARE YOU GETTING MARRIED?!?!!" they yell, like I''ve spent a decade begging for a ring.

HELLO, two years is NOT THAT LONG!!!! But it''s started to make me feel very defensive of him, and of us, and is definitely upping my anxiety, which I do not like. I feel like we''re moving along just fine!!
