Holiday Weekend!! Any bets on how many engagements?

Memorial Day weekend is here! Anyone have long weekend plans? Anyone thinking they may be coming off the list this weekend!?

I bet we'll have 1 lady get engaged (...NOT me).

I don't think that it's necessarily a BIG weekend for a holiday, but a lot of people get a long 3-day weekend which allows more time for a mini weekend trip...romance...ahhh. Lol. In the past several years that usually is at least one over Memorial weekend.

SO and I are going to a local barbecue festival possibly with some other friends. While it would be an appropriate spot for a proposal, we've got a couple months still before that happens....!

I hadn't considered memorial day weekend being a big engagement time, but one of my friends did get engaged! I also heard about several weddings this weekend. Apparently mem day IS a good weekend for these things!
