Price of a Custom Ring

I had the following idea for an engagement and wedding ring, and would like to know how much it might cost, and how big a difference would providing the materials myself make to the price?

A thin white gold engagement ring with 3 small diamonds (I know nothing about quality, please make reasonable assumptions whatever that may be) set in to the surface that twists into a groove on the outside of a yellow gold wedding ring like a screw in to it's thread to sit flush and look like one ring.

I'm having trouble visualizing what you have in mind. Any possibility of you providing a drawing of some sort?

I'm tring to draw it but my artistic skills are less than atrocious. I post there now thanks, I was going to post there before but wasn't sure it was the right place.
