You did what anyone would do. Don''t look at it as a failure.

If you need anything we are here for you. I had neck surgery, it didn''t work, I know not what like what you had. But I have pain 24/7. It made me hang up my tennis racket. A game that I loved more than anything and played competively. I did have some relief for a year. But shortly after, the terrible pain came back and numbness in my fingers and sharp pains... I was told no more tennis, or I would or could become paralyzed. I was like ok then, screw that racket.

I pray you find a pain management doc that can help you find relief. Sending you a big hug!!! xx Lisa

Oh LS, I am so sorry to hear this. I missed a lot of your original thread but read it all one night and was happy to read it was gone. I still have hope that somehow, they can find ways to make it better. You are a brave woman, and yes, one with a wonderful sense of humor.

I just want you to know that I am so proud of you for the way you have dealt with your monster and despite this horrible downturn you are going through, you remain an inspiration to me and to many that have followed your story.

I think it goes without saying that if there was anything any of us could to to help you, we would and I hope that inspires you as you greet each morning. Heck, I''ll even come over and do your ironing for you (and I wouldn''t offer to do that for many!).

Stay strong and calm, never regret the steps you have taken and never stop hoping that tomorrow will be a better day and bring you some relief.

That''s the spirit Lost. And just look at it this way, you could be butt ugly and wearing a mystic topaz instead of your Leon lovely.

I shall do my best to keep your chin heading in an upward direction but will happily settle for a little curl of the lip for now.

I still think of you LS whenever I see a halo''d sapphire, I think that may just be something I will always do now. Your ring was and is a symbol of your strength and the depths of your personality - and those still come through loud and clear, even though the surgery was only partially successful. Prayers continuing.
