A gf of mine who was at a wedding a few weeks back texted me 'OMFG, XX brought the stipper from the hens night as her date to YY's wedding'.

WTF??!!! Who does that?!?!?!

It sounds like something that would happen in a movie!

I'm having dinner with my gf next week and I'll see if I can get more details. I get it that with plus one, you can't really dictate who your guests should bring. But as a guest, wouldn't you have some sense of decorum and think hmmm maybe I shouldn't bring along the guy that shook his ding dong in front of the bride's face?

Common sense is definitely not common for some!

We just had my childhood pup put down. Tallulah was 14 and a half years old. She was diagnosed with liver disease a year and a half ago, and she did really well until just yesterday. I'm going to miss her so much. I was a senior in high school when we adopted her. She was a Border Collie mix, and she was craziest little spitfire I've ever known. I miss you, Lulie.

I thought of you while we were at the vet, Deco, and how your Tallulah now has to carry on the legacy of the Tallulah pups all on her own.

I'm trying mighty hard to distract myself by posting all over PS. I think I cried out all my tears this morning and afternoon. Now I'm just a puddly mess. But PS is proving to be a good distraction.

And as for hurt - I visited the local animal shelter here in Kas, Turkey yesterday. I try to visit a shelter and make a sizable donation on each of our holidays. OF COURSE I fell in love with a dog there. 2 years and she had been there since she was 4 weeks old. My heart hurts for all of the unwanted pets in the world.
