Even the military posted that they had no respect for him.

This country has never been so divided. And I cannot remember so many killings of police officers and other innocent people.

He was an empty suit.

And since his days as President are now coming to an end, he is more worried about his so called legacy instead of keeping his mouth shut and not adding fuel to the fire.

However because of the effect of that crisis many people lost their jobs as well as their houses. It took years for both the financial crisis and the housing bubble to unfold, and it affected many innocent bystanders. Dec 2008 the unemployment rate was 7.3 percent.

We were 5 years mired in the Iraq war where thousands of our troops and hundreds and thousands of Iraq people were killed, based on Bush Administration "evidence" that Hussein was responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

The real instigator of the attacks (Osama bin Laden) was still at large.

Many people were not able to get health insurance due to being an independent worker or due to pre-existing conditions.

Now the unemployment rate is less than 5%.
The Iraq war is ended, but not without cost, and our continued involvement in the middle East.
Osama bin Laden was taken out (2011).
Our uninsured percentage went from 14.9 percent to 11.7 percent.
If the ACA stays it is projected to reduce the deficit by 147 Billion. interestingly, when the Republican held majority voted to repeal ACA, they also added a clause that the Congressional Budget Office, would as usual create a 10 year analysis how that change affected the Budget - EXCEPT for the ACA. LIMITATION.—This subsection shall not apply to any bill or joint resolution, or amendment thereto or conference report thereon—
(A) repealing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and title I and subtitle B of title II of the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010;
(B) reforming the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010
Why? Because last time they did an analysis it was projected repealing ACA would cost taxpayers 100's of billions.

I am not a fan of Obama (and didn't vote for him), but I think that saying that he practically destroyed this country is a stretch, which also happens to be the same response that I give to those who think that Trump will destroy this country Presidents come and go and we are all still here.
