New stone from Barry (May Drop)

Rhodolite Garnet
8.5mm cushion
3.87 carats

High chrome instead of iron content so can be a little dark in some lights...but also can have a wonderful colour and sparkle in others. Doesn't totally black out or anything that extreme.


Posting a bunch of pictures but the first picture is probably the best colour gem picture I have taken to date. Sorry for finger prints as they are everywhere in the pictures.

Thanks all. I was so sure I was to copy pandotsav setting because I really love double claws and I dont have one yet but I might get a James Meyer 1345 (oviously modded to a cushion shape instead) if it won't darker too much or somthing like this https://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/files/Lana2.jpg as more gold and less diamonds might brings more warmth around the stone instead of diamonds being a colder bigger contrast. What do you think? Or a ebay special?

I really like that setting "lana2" you linked to! That would let a lot of light in for your stone.
