Interesting gossip in the Emerald world is that an obscure foreign company named Muzo International has purchased 50% of the interest in the Muzo Mine in Colombia, the source for the finest Emeralds in the world. Nothing much is known about the company which appears to be registered in Switzerland. There's been some feedback that higher quality material takes a little longer to find nowadays as this company appears to be diverting an unknown quantity of the mined gems elsewhere. I'm curious to see what is going on.... lol.
