T-gal - Thanks!! Eloping was a great experience for us. Thanks for the photo edit! You're so talented. I wonder if we should have our photos edited... they're currently not and it's probably more than we can afford. Classic dilemma.
I am glad we got to use the Rotunda at all, actually. It was supposed to be off-limits that afternoon because some other people were setting up for their wedding reception to be held there! Bud snuck us in to do the ceremony and the photographer got people to leave us alone long enough to get some pictures on the stairs.
mia- Thank you so, so much!! We had a great photographer, which helped [thanks to you!]. The exit pics were fun... we went out... and in... and out... over and over again. We have like 20 of us coming out! It's sort of funny looking at the CD. I actually like your exit pics [and all your pics!!

There were tons of people there, most of us same sex couples hoping to get married before Nov. 4th in case prop 8 passed... [it did.] It was a great atmosphere because everyone was talking and cheering each other on. There was something very "community"-like about it!

If there are others where you want people out, perhaps you should post an ad in a college paper or craigslist? There are many talented students that could do it easily for cheap or maybe for barter. I''m not a photoshop person (in fact, I use another program), but I was able to do a crude job in about 30 seconds to get rid of those people.

OMG those pictures are amazing! The two of you looked so full of joy and it looked like you were having an AMAZING time! I especially loved the pics of you running out of city hall and your silly fooling around pics. You two looked so beautiful.

What wonderful pictures! I''m so glad you were able to make it to California in time, and that you decided on a professional photographer to capture your special day. I love the sitting on the bench pictures, and the one where you''re sitting on the steps, and the outdoor shots...

Wishful - your pictures turned out so beautiful! I got teary looking at them because your photographer did such of good job of capturing your emotions in the pictures! My favorite is the same one that Musey reposted where you guys are running out the door! It''s just wonderful - the look on your face says it all! I could never find words to express how much it means to me that so many people care about what happens to us as a couple. You''ve kept me strong! Knowing we''re married in your eyes may have to be enough, and if in the end we only have the recognition of our loved ones, so be it. Plus, the pictures captured Bud saying the legal vows to a *same sex couple*... HA- I wonder if these relics would be worth something on ebay?
