We''re Married!!!! Non-pro pics!

We''re married! I can''t believe it! It all went by so fast. The day was absolutely beautiful, everything went so well. I choked back tears throughout the entire ceremony because I was so overwhelmed with everything. We had so much fun, it was really a beautiful day.

The ceremony was beautiful, my parents made our chuppah, the flower girls misunderstood their job and handed petals to people so everyone was laughing, and then one decided to fling them over her shoulder at the end. So adorable. I just locked eyes with my hubby and kept that gaze throughout the entire ceremony. It was really the most incredible thing, marrying him.

The reception was a blast, our band rocked the house. The flowers from proflowers.com were GORGEOUS, and they looked EXACTLY like the pictures. The food was divine, everyone kept commenting on how much they loved it all. The mismatched bridesmaids dresses looked gorgeous, it was all just wonderful.

AND I WORE MY DRESS TO FIREWORKS THAT NIGHT! My best friend bought FI a tuxedo t-shirt because she knew he''d take the tux off right after the ceremony, so he wore the shirt, I wore the dress, and my father got a great shot of us with the fireworks in the background.

Here''s my hair! I said I wanted "CMA Awards big" and that''s what I got! It settled under the veil, of course! The extensions were gorgeous, I must say.

Aaaah, the groom''s cake. I don''t know if I posted this, but when I asked FI what he wanted he said "a skeleton with half musculature and half skeletal system." I said "Gross. Try to think of something that people will want to eat, it''s going to be red velvet, after all, so it might look like it''s bleeding." He stopped, thought about it, and said "What about a skeleton of just the foot?" That sounded worse, so we went with his first idea.

He''s a muscle specialist, so it definitely suits him, and we actually only had one little piece left so people apparently weren''t as grossed out as I thought they would be.

First dance. FI chose Brian McKnight''s "Back at One" because he said the words remind him of me every time. The song is so nineties, but I couldn''t say no because of how sweet he was about picking it.

Oh, and we walked out to the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme song, everyone was laughing because we''re huge fans of the show.

I LOVE the way my dress looks in this shot. This was the very end of the reception, so I had been in hair and makeup for over eight hours. I''m happy how well my hair held up. (In fact, it looked GREAT yesterday for the day-after brunch, too!)

After brunch we went to the W Lakeshore to check in and hang out, all the girls met us there and we drank a little, opened gifts, and then went to Boystown for dinner at Halsted''s Grill. It was GREAT, and all the boys were sending me drinks and one even gave me a rose that his boyfriend gave to him that night! We went to some Lincoln Park bars after going to a few places in Boystown, but I must say I had MUCH more fun in Boystown--it''s so much better when the guys aren''t hitting on you and they''re just hanging out with you to have fun!
