Oh my gosh, that is seriously the epitome of the perfect princess gown in my head. It''s so refreshing to see straps on a wedding dress again! You look gorgeous and your photos are great!
Oh my goodness, guys thank you all so much for the sweet comments.
Krissie My hair is actually pretty long, it was actually to my shoulder blades, maybe a little longer for the wedding, but I think my hair dresser could have gotten the same look with my hair being shorter than that. It was nice having it all up and out of the way so that I didn't have to think about it.
news_girl, ally, massie, Diamante, labbie, bee, indygal (I hope I didn't leave anyone off.) Thanks for the comments, especially about the dress. And to think I had last min. frets about it. Let's see, the dress is actually the opposite of what I wanted. It's by Jasmine from their Couture line, and it's #T842
Actually, it's this: Dress
I don't think I would have picked it from the stock photos at all. I really wanted simple and strapless (but I am SO glad I went with straps. It made the dress SO easy to wear, and I had no fear of the dreaded "arm pit fat") The shop keeper actually selected it for me. I was skeptical when I looked at it because I wasn't trying to go the "princess" route, but then I tried it on, and I thought it just may be it. So, when I walked out and everyone started crying, I went ahead and sold myself on it. I guess I was meant to be a princess-y bride after all. It was only the 4th thing I tried I think, so I felt lucky that it was easy.
Let's see, Gwyn Thanks so much! I don't think I've posted anything about my headpiece yet. I will have to see if I have any close ups of it. I'm not even sure what company made it or anything. My SIL borrowed it and wore it in her wedding too, which I thought was kinda cool, so maybe she has some close ups somewhere. If not I may be able to take a few.
