Hello,
FI heard a cute song on the radio that he would like to use for the reception. But he doesn''t know the title or who sings it. Can you all help? The lyrics are something like "we''d better say I do before we drown the darn town." The song is sung from the perspective of someone who is so head over heels that he or she forgets to turn off the bathtub faucet and it floods his or her place. FI said it sounded like a Louis Armstrong song, but he wasn''t sure. We searched online, but it is an older song and isn''t coming up for us. Does anyone recognize this song?

Good point! He heard it on NPR''s Saturday night jazz show...so maybe there is some type of playlist.

Yeah, go to either the local NPR station''s site, or if you know the name of the show, go to NPR.org and I''m sure you''ll be able to find it.

I found it! It was a Johnny Mercer song called "The Bathtub Ran Over Again." The version FI heard was sung by Daryl Sherman. I found a video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrQem8tfCpw. It sounds a little distorted, but you get the idea. It is actually a cute song.

I included the audio archive from this past Saturday''s show because I am digging this radio show: http://wamu.org/programs/hjsn -- the song in question plays at about the 14 minute mark.
