ohmigosh, I just saw this!! I feel so special!! My very own thread

Yes, we are married, as of 11:15am yesterday! We were married in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the courthouse there. It was a very (read: very!) short ceremony (entire license application, ceremony, etc. only took 45 minutes!), but I shed a few tears, and came out married to the awesome love of my life.

We spent two nights in St. Pete Beach (Sunday and Monday nights), and now we're back home (Orlando). We had an awesome time!

Two days before we got married, I got a haircut; the night we got married, I got a "love" tattoo on my foot (pic attached); and we went to the Social Security office today, and changed my last name!

It's been a whirlwind 3 days, but definitely the best weekend of my life!

Thank you so much for starting this thread, Starset, it makes me feel very warm with PS love!

ETA: I promise my ankle isn't that fat! It's just the weird angle of the pic (I had my foot up on the bathroom counter, lol!)

Hey, sorry, just saw this!

We moved up our date simply because we saw no reason to wait; we weren''t planning a "wedding", we always planned on just going to the courthouse. If we had waited until October, we did plan on doing a longer honeymoon (probably to Mexico), but I think we should do it next April for our one year! Honestly, I could''ve skipped the entire engagement period, and just went straight to marrying him!

And it doesn''t feel any different to me! He has been my "husband" in my mind for almost the entire time we''ve been dating. My husband says it was like we were 99.9% complete, and now we''re 100% complete

I wore an casual, knee-length ivory dress, black sandals and a short sleeve black mini-cardigan thingie. My husband wore a black button-up shirt, dark jeans, and black dress shoes.

I''m not really comfortable posting pictures of me/us, but we didn''t really take any to begin with anyway (so bad of us!)

Congratulations Lilyfoot!! I absolutely loove the tattoo and i have to admit i am a teeny tiny little bit jealous! My hubby got a full sleeve done in Bali on our honeymoon and part of the design are 3 frangipani flowers representing me and our 2 girls. I was going to get three frangipani flowers on my foot to match his but after 2 full days getting it done all he wanted to do was get out of there so it didn't end up happening

I really like the lily on your other foot too.
