Change in date. The wedding is now August 5th. We couldnt get the 11th at the reception space...even though I thought they were holding it for me.

August 5th is a very special day for me though. It was my brothers birthday who died of cancer when he was 7. My mother couldnt be happier, saying that it wil bring together two very special days!

We have a date, we have a date, we have a date!!!! I got word today that our contract and deposit were received! The church is also available, I just need to officially tell them which time slot we want.
I am so excited! It feels more real than ever!
We will be married on 7/28/07.

We decided to have an 07 wedding because he is a teacher (tough to take time off when vacations are built into your job!) and 06 felt too short of time to plan as we both moved and started new jobs this fall. Besides, I waited over six years for the engagement, I want some time to enjoy it!

FFF, that''s awesome! When Kyle and I sat down to discuss possible dates, 10-13-06 was one of my suggestions... it''s my "non-superstitious" fiance that nixed the idea.

How cool!!! I have a date twin!!! This is just too cool! Are you guys doing anything fun with the date? Our wedding is going to be a formal evening wedding so we can''t do too much but here is what we got so far:

One of our favors will be packets of shamrock seeds imported from Ireland with a little "lucky" saying on it
Placing the myth of Friday the 13th at each table on nice card stock
Instead of having table numbers, we are doing table letters with each table being the 13th i.e. Table 13-A, Table 13-B

My fiance have always done things differently so why not get married on a Friday the 13th! No one will forget our dates that is for sure!
