Zircon Ring is DONE! and I have pictures!

Liz has just emailed to let me know my ring is done! I am extremely happy with the way it turned out, it''s exactly what I imagined my ring would look like.

Liz was also wonderful to work with and listened to every single one of my requests and concerns. I would happily work with her again.

Here are the pics!!! They make the wait for it to get here absolutely unbearable

She has asked me to name the ring to put up on her website... any suggestions?

For me ZIRO was a combination of the stone in your ring and the bold outline of the setting in the shape of an O or 0. Does it actually mean something?

Ok that seems to work... the filesize is too big not the picture size if that makes sense? I don't know how to reduce the file size without reducing the picture size....looks like you can still see enough detail...but it's not as nice.

Ok picture #3 is still too big although it''s file size is 98.3kb...I thought the limit was 100kb? Weird.

Last one for now She took a handshot with two eternity bands...and I think it looks awesome like that...if only I could afford two eternity bands at the moment.

i''m so glad you went with a metal bezel....your stone "pops" as a result. don''t you love the open pavilion?!

also, the two eternity bands give subtle bling w/o overwhelming your color stone.

Movie Zombie - I really AM glad I went with a metal bezel...I wanted the stone to be the start of the show and it is! I''m really happy with teh way it looks. I''ll get those eternities eventually

Hi Cind11, Thanks! Liz used 950 Palladium. I asked her not to rodhium dip it as I want to see what it looks like without it. So far I really like the way it looks!

Ok thanks! I have an aquamarine asscher that I would like to have bezel set. I''d like it in white gold but I thought I might have trouble finding someone to set it because jewelers generally don''t like making bezels out of that material because it is difficult to work with. I think I have been told that palladium is easier to deal with which maybe is why Liz was willing to do it for you.
