Will this color appear very faint or almost colorless in real life? I have read that colored gems are priced due to the intensity of the color. Is this color an unpopular/not valuable since it is so faint?

Colour preferences are very personal.

I like intense colour in some CS like Rubies, Emerald, Tourmaline, Topaz and Zircons, and icy colours in others like Aquamarines, as well as colourless CSs.

The pale pink Sapphire in the original post would make a nice Tank ring in the right setting for someone who likes its colour and cutting.

DK :))

It’s pale, depending on your skin tone it could sort of “disappear” if you are fair skinned. On a darker / tanned skin tone it would “pop” better.
like all things colour and tone are personal. in terms of pricing, the more vibrant / vivid colours are more popular and therefore more expensive.
It hard to get perspective from a photo but given that it’s just over half a carat, it will be a smaller size gemstone.

that is a good point. I would not want it to disappear.

This colour is one that will either suit your skin tone or not. It's a bit like Morganite or a pale Kunzite. I find that I can only wear strong pinks and pale pinks fade into me. It's also quite small so just wondering what your plans are for it?

Thinking of having it as a pendant.. My husband said the pink is nice but I am not so sure if light color suits me... Especially after learning my lesson on faint pink FCD from the PSers the last round.

It’s more of a salmon pink as well, if you’re okay with that.

Are there other gem cutters like precision gems in this forums? Btw.. The gems are indeed breathtakingly beautiful.

Yes! You are right.. Salmon pink is the correct description. It looks good on screen not sure if it will look as good outdoors
