Hi All,

I''m new to the Forum, but have been an avid reader of virtually all posts and this entire website - it''s the greatest!! It was because of Pricescope that I decided to use an online dealer to purchase our 3.5 carat, "triple E", SI, H color stone.
The diamond looks great newly set on my current platinum invisible set band, but because of "shrinkage" and the wide band, doesn''t look as big

- really!

What would be the best setting to show this baby to its advantage? Jump in wiith your thoughts!!

Thanks - the gorgeous simplicity of that setting truly shows of the stone, but are there any other recommendations with a little more diamonds on it?

) I think my setting would fit your bill AND look killer with a 3 carat stone. I would also be insanely jealous!!!

Congratulations! There are some beautiful settings on here!

Would you mind sharing which vendor helped you in finding the stone please!

I''m looking for something similar but am not having much luck finding "The Stone"

Thanks again, all for your vote of confidence in Lynn''s setting! My current setting is about 10 years old, not really "dated", but from a different time, when the trend was to be more ornate and heavier, so the ring itself has about 3 carats.
I can see how a thinner band really brings out the central stone! I''ll be investigating more, so thanks for the great input!!

For Sparkles: I met with Martin from USA Certed. He was really great to work with, totally timely with all of his promises, called back on my questions virtually immediately and followed his timelines. He is based in Canada, so initially I was nervous to go with an e-vendor, and out of the US, but after reading all of the posts on the positive experiences with him, decided to give him a call. His website has a ton of information and I was attracted to the fact that he "specializes in triple zeros/E''s". I spent almost a year researching on what I really wanted for my upgrade. It got really stressful in the last three months as I narrowed it down, but I have to tell you, the HCA doesn''t lie!
I asked vendors for the full specs so I could check it out and when I saw the stones, although beautiful, just wasn''t "the ONE". Martin listened to what I was really looking for, an outstanding cut, a decent color, the cleanest SI, since VS was going to kick it up way too high $$$ if I kept the color to no lower than an H, nice diameter and all within a certain budget. He really delivered and do you know, I don''t see the matching price anywhere - all other stones are at least $3000 more at this point. My stone was really waiting for me, as it is everthing I really wanted, and at just a smidge under 3.5 carats, was priced at the lower pricepoint.
I tried Whiteflash, but they were not timely in calling me back, on finding stones that fit my parameters, on obtaining stones that were not part of their inventory, so I just gave up. Try Martin, who brought home the deal and was a joy to work with my independent appraiser. Good luck!
