I also thought it looked washed out in pictures so when I was considering it I requested another video and asked about color and that helped. In person it’s definitely not as rich as higher karat gold — it is 9k after all! But it definitely looks like gold. It has a cool patina as well, which adds richness too. I even like the garnet, which glows like an ember when the light hits it. Plus shipping was free which has become my absolute bugaboo after the recent eBay shipping price-gauge debacle!
 
It looks perfect on your pointer finger. Really lovely, congratulations on your wonderful ring with presence.

Received this on Friday and forgot to come back here and post. She was pretty dirty when received, visible crud in ajour holes, but after a thorough cleaning, the diamonds and sapphires are bright.

So I somehow convinced myself I needed a pinky ring. I’m planning on a baby WG version of this, with an 8mm pear or maybe a marquise. Finger size 3.5. Not looking for the most amazing quality diamond, just something fun. With the cost of this I can buy a tennis bracelet which is also one of the things I covet, but cost per wear wouldn’t be there since I couldn’t wear bracelets to work. Well, I tried ONE TIME and immediately a dog yanked on it and broke it. Lol

I’m a vet tech! Lol Some try to bite the diamonds out of my rings too.

The same dog that yanked my bracelet also dragged me another time causing the crown of my watch to get caught in the door frame and come flying. I only wear my Fitbit now. Lol I miss her. She was my favorite patient. She was a badass all black German Shepherd who knew exactly what she wanted. I always say “You don’t walk her, she walks YOU.” She pottied on the same spot every time (after spinning exactly 3 times) and stayed in the same exact kennel whenever she boards.
 
A pre-loved Tiffany Metro band happened to come up for sale in my size at a great price! Even though I was not in the market for anything right now, how could I refuse?!? So now I am eagerly awaiting its arrival. I’m hoping it will be a beautiful compliment to my solitaire and Harmony pairing. Like it could just use a little more sparkle

Thread 'New project: a big beautiful band'

I’ve decided it is time to start a new project. I’ve been having a terrible time the past six months with my health — I’ve had two surgeries and another scheduled next month (lady troubles). I think I need a pick me up and nothing helps my mood like a great long term jewelry project!

I’ve decided that I want a big blingy diamond wedding band that will work with my three stone or stand alone or even to pair with my five stone.

Here are those rings for reference. Three stone is a 1.89ct (8mm) transitional with 4.3mm sides. Five stone is half carat (5mm) old cuts.
