What your favorite piece of jewelry (not including your engagement ring) ladies? (Gentlemen can, of course, respond as well). And why is it your favorite?

Mine is my BGD pendant because it has a lot of meaning for me, and just knocks my sock off when I look at it.

Your turn...

My current favorite is my tsavorite garnet ring. I just love the color and the cut, so yummy! And very in keeping with the holiday season.

I have two: a sterling silver Coach bracelet my bestie gave me for being her MOH in her wedding. The second is a necklace I bought off of Etsy!

Easy! My Tessa ring.

For someone who has tried on your BGD pendant IRL I can understand why it is your favorite!!! It is a piece of art!

The first piece that came to mind was my Movadio Vizio two tone watch (polished and matte stainless steel with 18k yg strips as well). I love it because, even though there are diamonds around the bezel, it''s not ''over the top'' - classy and elegant after quite a few years.

The bezel ruby rings my grandmother and late grandfather got me for my 14th birthday

.
(One is definitely a ruby, the other might be a garnet?)

I hardly ever wear it though, I'm worried about bending or denting it (it's really soft high-karat gold).

I totally puffy heart yr pendant, Gypsy!!

I lurve my BGD martini studs. I feel so nikked these days since I can''t wear them on a daily basis, sob sob....

Gpysy, I love that pendant of yours - it''s gorgeous.

For me, this, because of the sentimental value (plus I love the ring!)

I really like this amethyst ring I got for my 5th anniversary. I''ve always liked the scrollwork and daydreamed for a long time about a diamond that big, maybe taking the amethyst out and putting an oval diamond in. My diamond ended up being way bigger than this amethyst lol - I sometimes think I should plate it with white metal but I like the way the gold and purple go together... at times I wore it on my left hand with my original gold wedding band... there''s nothing too special about it but I like it - I think it looks better on the hand in real scale than in this pic.

it''s the one on the left... though I believe these are both amethyst (not sure the one on the right)

Can I choose my wedding ring? I love everything about it, and I get tons of compliments on it.

My second choice would be a silver necklace from Tiffany -- simply because it was the first gift DH ever gave me, and when I wear it I always think about the night he gave it to me.

Gypsy your pendant is amazing! My favorite piece is a diamond and sapphire ring (and they are chips really) that my mom gave me on my 16th birthday. Aside from my e-ring it is not only my favorite but it is my most sentimental because she and I are so close and she is so amazingly good to me.

My BGD .25tcw martini studs. I wear them just about every day.

ETA: Why are they my favorite? Well, they're so darned sparkly! I can wear them in my second piercing with hoops in the first, or often just rock them as my only pair of earrings. They're subtle, yet amazingly blingy. Love 'em!

My JBEG pendant I got for our anni last year.

It is so beautiful and I see it every time I look in the mirror.

Sorry I don''t have a neck shot. My old laptop died....

The Edwardian earrings I bought for my wedding. c. 1905-1910, platinum with assorted OMCs, OECs, and full cut diamonds (I love that they''re subtly mismatched; I imagine the jeweler working in his turn-of-the-century shop and piecing in the diamonds he had). I have not worn them because they''re too much for everyday wear and I don''t want to put them on until the wedding (although I''m fine with sneaking on my wedding band at home, go figure) but they are absolutely my favorites after my e-ring/wedding ring set.

Wow Liane those earrings are GORGEOUS!

I love this ring. Found at a local pawn shop. Platinum and the diamonds are so pretty! Full of sparkle and contrast

The little bugger just hates to be photographed

I''ve tried several times and either end up with a dark photo like this that gives it no justice or one big white sparkle

Wow, these are all beautiful. I love that fairy piece.

Gypsy, that is my dream pendant. I don''t think I would ever take it off my neck.

I adore the ring I got for our 10th anni. It''s an old art deco find. I also love the pendant I had made from the diamond I was married in. The diamond is only .25 and isn''t a great stone, but the sentimental value in that beautiful setting make it one of my favs.

Laine - beautiful earrings!!! Love them.

megeve - That piece is so unique! I think it''s quite adorable.

Mine is my only Tiffany''s piece so far. It''s my new last initial, and I love it because it makes me feel close to DH even when we''re not together.

Sappy, I know, but who cares?! I adore it.

I love this pendant and wear it constantly.

I love these too. Antique jewelry is my favourite.
