What are you thinking about design wise? And who are you thinking about having do it. I just had someone forward me a couple of interesting new jewelers. One is not a new one... http://www.mc2jewels.com/gallery/Rings But is my "TO DIE FOR DREAM JEWERLER" and the other jewler was in NYC had some very interesting work, not all to my taste, but in all the pics the work looked immaculate (and he wasn't afraid of 50 X Mag. so you could really see the detail). I'll see if I can find the name of that one for you, if you are looking for a jeweler.

But first... what are you thinking of getting? Style wise?
 
well..... my 20th anniversary is in june and I want to get my diamond reset and I want a unique eternity, something funky weird and yet all the way around lol

I actually was seriously ONE DAY from sending all of the info for both to someone at whiteflash when my harddrive crapped out. So all of my notes and pictures and everything were gone, but more importantly I told my husband that I would put the project on hold if we could please try to recover the harddrive (could be 1k IF IF IF I can get it at all). So I was going to get both and now I'm pretty sure I could get one or the other, both would be a harder sell. I feel like I'm dying here without bling so I've even been thinking about just getting something small like 1/3 carat in a cheapo ring just to have SOMETHING and put both of the other projects off...

It's crazy because I almost feel like I did before I got my diamond... waiting 15 years to get it and then another year plus to get it on my finger... and now I haven't really worn it for the past two years. I had it with me in ireland but it wasn't insured so I just kinda smeagoled it while I watched tv lol And I wore it the 6 mos I was back in the states but now almost a year has passed since I put it away. It's an ache. So so so stupid. I think even diamond lovers think I'm nutso. I really think even a little well cut diamond would satiate me.
 
Believe it or not, I'd be in for a ring saga...as long as I reserve the right to tell you you're driving me crazy. :tongue: Seriously, I've always loved your stone and think it needs to be in its rightful home. I just don't think your current setting was it for it.

My only plea would be, if you are going to ask for advice and opinions, don't ignore the advice COMPLETELY! I think some of the errors in your last setting could have been prevented with some good design advice that PSers gave. Plus it seems now that more than ever, we have some people with a great custom design eye.

ETA, and who are you kidding? Your ring saga took WAY longer than a year...at least it seemed that way to me! :rodent:

bahahaha - I'm chuckling here. EVERY time I see your avatar I think of me and the ring saga... everyone ::mousepad:: :halo:

Worst case scenario this time I would just get something like that daussi ring but no melee - just plain plain plain.... but that's worst case scenario lol
