All the numbers seem great on this diamond, especially the price

, I''m a little lost as to what I should do next... do I call the company and ask for any certifications that they have on that particular diamond? Do I ask for pictures? Here we go, I feel like I''m sitting waiting for the start of a huge roller coaster ride and even in all this excitement I''m a little overwhelmed, I didn''t know there would be so much in picking a diamond/ring.

yep have him call it in for pictures is the next step but being a si2 its not likely eyeclean.
Is that ok with you?

it really depends I guess, if I can mask inclusions with a good setting then I''m fine with it, but if it is something sitting on the table I would think I''d keep looking.

And by "him" when you say have him call it in for pictures, who do you mean?

Should I just call the customer service number at the website?

Mark Turnowski. Ask to speak to him. SI2 in an EC is risky as the inclusions will be visible to the naked eye. But see what Mark has to say. Good luck!!

I have yet to see an eye clean SI2 EC, even finding an eye clean SI1 EC is like digging for gold in your backyard. This includes those that may be hidden by prongs. It''s just the nature of the step cut that even if the inclusion is not on the table (but on the crown facet), it is still going to be very noticeable.

Give Mark at www.engagementringsdirect.com a call and ask him to find an eye clean EC for you with your budget. He is in the NY diamond district and access to many diamonds. He has a good eye and reputation here on PS; I would trust him to pick out a winner for you.
