Hey, didn''t I see this same photo on flickr? I swear I did!! That''s awesome.
I posted a bunch of photos of my ring to my flickr account, too, and then I think I saw yours in the ''recently added'' stream with the tag "engagement ring."
Thanks guys! I love it too. The center stone is a 1.01 carat princess cut (obviously), SI1, F. The band has .2 carats total, the wedding band is exactly like the e-ring band only without the center.
Sooooo.....we picked it out together and it came in and we went together to pick it up (so I could pay for his wedding band). She went to get it out and I was like, "Nooo, I don''t want to see it yet!", so her and Chris (my fiance) looked at it and oooh and ahhhed over it while I watched - until I changed my mind and begged to see it but it was too late, they said no. He carried it around with him all day so I couldn''t peek. He had me completely convinced that he was going to wait a week or more (!!!) to give it to me. I resigned myself to that fact and we had a great night eating dinner at our favorite restaurant and watching a movie, then we went to bed. Just when I was ready to fall asleep, he woke me up and said, "Since today was so perfect, it should have a perfect ending too!" and gave it to me - popped the ring box open, put it on my finger, and asked. Not too flashy or unique, but definitely perfect for him.
Here are some more pics, some of them have the wedding bands in them too.
@stryeyes102 - That was the hardest part! We had a hard time finding settings we both liked...but this one we both LOVE! We actually got it from a diamond wholesaler here in Omaha; they don''t have a store that''s open to the public but you can visit their showroom with a referral and an appointment. So if anyone is in Omaha....
Ill most likely be in Omaha in November for thanksgiving! And,im not thrilled with it, but Bf might be moving out there to go to school once his enlistment is over. Hmmm..
I have the exact same problem as you did; i find a ring i love, and he absolutely hates it. It get quite frustrating.
