Thanks in advance for reading and any feedback you can provide.
I have selected 1.7– H-VS1 diamond for 13k. I want the diamond to have a great shine in multiple lights and angles, and not have an noticeable inclusions to the naked eye. Will this diamond have a great brilliance and fire? Do you think this is a good pick and value?

Looks good to me! I just found the video for this diamond. Looks like a beautiful performer and is completely eye-clean. It's a little deep at 62.6%, but that's just due to the slightly thick girdle. You lose a little bit of face-up size, but it won't impact performance in any way. With the small table, it should give off quite a bit of fire.

If you like it, then order it and see how you like it in person. :)

I think it looks good! Agree with @TreeScientist that it seems like a good idea to order and see it in person to make sure you like it. But looks like it'll be a good performer.

The scope images look very good. I wouldn’t be too worried with depth at 62.6 with the other proportions being bang on the money.

Is 13k reasonable price for this quality?

If you plug the 4Cs into the search bar at the top of the forum, click on the Advanced Filters halfway down the results page (on the right) and then filter into the PS-recommended specifications:

Table 54-57
Depth 60-62.4
Pavilion Angle 40.6-40.9
Crown Angle 34-35.5

The stones that come up should give you an idea of comparable prices.

Don't forget that if you're buying from a PS-recommended vendor with great Returns and Upgrade policies, as well as excellent customer service, you will pay a little more than a 'dropshipper' like Blue Nile.

I think this is a fair price for the size, color & clarity.

Love the 34.5/40.8 angle combo and that small 55 table. Wish the depth was < 62 but agree the slightly thick girdle is hiding some of the weight. Probably to hit the 1.70 mark, but the images prove it doesn't affect light performance.

Not sure the exact dollars you are paying but I saw this stone with 4 vendors, and a low price of about $13.4k.

One of the vendors had an ASET, hearts & arrows images of the stone that I'm posting for your review. I'd say the images you got from the vendor you are working with is better. Not a H&A stone, but still looks great overall.

Really, the question becomes -- do you want a H&A stone? And is the upgrade/trade-in program of the vendor you are looking at something that fits you for the long term?

The images @sledge posted look good. Hearts image potentially might be off centre a bit based off the twisting you see at 6 and 12 o’clock at the chevrons. Solid performer. Thumbs up from me.
