Would you call this old cut diamond shape an oval or an elongated cushion?

Hello folks, I wanted to ask you what shape you would call the centre diamond in this ring. I think it looks like a cushion like the one from Ivy and Rose, but I was told that it’s an oval and it would need to have more prominent shoulders in order to qualify as a cushion. Really interested to hear your thoughts, thanks!

When I saw the stone in the setting I thought it was an oval. But seeing it loose.. I would consider it more an elongated cushion.
