Would this diamond be okay?

Looking at diamonds with my sweetie when we found this one:

    Price: ~7500
    1.58 Carat J SI1
    Cert: GIA 2274377917
    Table 57
    Depth 61.7
    Girdle: Slightly Thick
    Faint Floures
    Ideal cut

    HCA is showing 1.1

Any concerns that I may not have that you do? We're thinking simple 6 prong setting

Only concern is that the clarity grade is based on clouds not shown. You should inspect in person to see if the clouds affect light performance.

Thank you for response! Sadly, there is no way for me to see the gem in person unless I order it and then return it if I don't like it. I can link you the video from the website for more of your opinion though?

Actually it is this one here.

That way everyone can see it.

I didn’t even look at the clarity before clicking the photo link. My first thought was uh oh that’s milky. Then I saw the clarity rating. And then skypie’s response. I agree, I think that’s what’s going on here.

    Nevermind ...

If this were a D-E, I might have insisted yhat you waste some time considering ... Tint & fog - NO.

Better 1.3 cts than this sort of 1.5.
