Do ya''ll think that this 3mm baguette eternity band would go with my D Vatche - style e-ring? (The band is from Sun Jewelry)

I''ll post pics of each...

try again...

another

Btw, that diamond band in the previous pic isn''t mine, but is from the jewelry site''s pics. It does give an idea of how the e-ring would look with an eternity band though.

Honestly? I'm thinking, not so much, for me anyway. Sorry! I love your ring and I like the band ok, just not together....

To me, your ring is soft/fluid/feminine. The band is a bit of the opposite, yanno?

one more - my actual ring

Good point. I LOVE how you described my e-ring! I looked for that setting for years! (D Vatche''s Royal Crown was too heavy for my .88 rb. This one is like 2/3 the proportions and honestly, an improvement on D Vatche''s - to me, anyway...)

Hello,

I thought you would like another opinion....I''m with Ellen on this one.

Well you did really well finding a suitable setting, that is just stunning!

Do you mind sharing where you got it?

And is that your round eternity band?

I love your ring. I like the baquette ring but I dont think it would detract from your beautiful ERing. That being said, I do like the combo of the eternity band with the round''s in them as shown in the pictures. I just dont think with baquettes it matches. I have a platinum solitate RB and Ive tried matching it to a few eternity type bands and without, and I think the only thing that works for me is with the matching round diamond band. As long as it sits low enough to show your beautiful side as well then it should look great.

I''d love to share - Liz C Custom Jewelry The funny thing is - Liz designs 18K gold settings for cz''s. She even has her own brand of cz''s. But she also has customers send their diamonds to her and sets them there. (She''s in Singapore) Afraid of losing my very meaningful .88 in the mail, I bought the ring with one of her cz''s and had my local jeweler swap it out for my .88 diamond.

Liz was a pleasure to work with. Very creative gal. Treated me very well! Let me know what you think. Besides my ring, "Liana," I would love to have her "It''s So Liz!" - based on Elizabeth Taylor''s Krups ring.

I think it''s under Three Stone rings. I''ll try to attach a pic.

Cookie - I love your setting - mine is practically the same

I attached a pic of mine.

I like the round band more than the baguette one.

Wow, she does very nice work! Thanks for sharing her info.

If you are wanting a diamond band to go with, I''d do a really delicate round eternity. I think that would look wonderful with your setting!

How about this? http://www.faycullen.com/eternity/300/c823t1d.html I''m just stuck on a baguette eternity band. I think it''s because I''l like to wear it alone most of the time, wearing my e-ring for church (once a week) or evenings out. I''m a practical girl and I miss the band only thing...

how bout an eternity band with round and baguettes? that way it will tie your RB ering in while giving you the baguettes, its very visually appealing to me... let me find one for reference

eta like this? Snooper''s beautiful set

Here is Megeve''s stunning alternating band

Oh - I like those! How many mm''s wide do you think they are?

hmmm, not quite sure, but its a leon mege on the last picture I posted, but maybe Megeve can answer, she''s still around.

Yes, I like D&T''s idea! An eternity band with alternating rounds and baguettes would be pretty.

I love baguette bands!!! I also love baguette and round alternating bands, but especially where the baguettes are set vertically, ie north-south as opposed to east-west. You don't see this that often though, as far as I'm aware. However (

) I am in the process of looking into purchasing this style as a band to wear in between my wedding band and ER, from my local jewellers here in the UK. Here's hoping that in a couple of months I can post it on here.....I tried it on the other week and it looked amazing with my set - I also tried on the plain baguette band, but it just didn't quite work, I totally understand others' comments that incorporating the rounds makes the difference! x

Here is a link to a similar style that I particularly like....might be a bit too chunky for your ering though?

I recently purchased a solitaire e-ring with the legato setting. Its very similar to your setting, the way it tapers and loops up top. Well anyway, i saw a thread with some pictures of wedding bands that had "shared prongs" and everyone, including me seemed to think it went really well. I believe the actual band was found on whiteflash.
just an idea :D

I also like the idea of alternating round and baguettes. Its an interesting look and the rounds tie back in with your lovely stone!

I like the alternating band as well.
