Looks beautiful! Here is a link to Woo''s thread where she asked opinion''s; hope it helps https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/buying-my-first-whiteflash-h-a-81-need-help.80593/

Did you see my other thread where I have to figure out what to do with the rest of my upgrade money if I go for this stone? I do think this is a great stone for the price. But what shall I do with the other $$ at WF?

What about a 3 stone ring or is that not a look you like?? I would actually talk to WF and see if there is a bigger stone in the price range you need to spend if you aren''t into a 3 stone ring. Just my thoughts.

Since I already have a micropave legato setting, I need to stick with it for now. And yes, I will talk to them tomorrow, but I''ve been through that database every day over the last few months. When woobug scooped up the J/VS2, I was bummed because I was sending an email to Lesley right before I found out that woobug got it. Then, when she went for a larger stone, I was excited! But now I can''t figure out what to do with the extra money.

Do you have a diamond pendant?? Those are are a pretty option.

$1820

I''m open to princess or rounds. Check out the other thread for all my comments about clouds and clarity. I would likely consider a pendant before studs. But with the $1820, I could do either. I''m looking for stone suggestions.

Well, what about this stone http://www.whiteflash.com/round_ideal_cut/Round-Ideal-Cut-cut-diamond-680231.htm instead of the .81; you would have to spend a little bit more though.

or if you do the .81 for a ring, you can do this for a pendant if it is eye clean. http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/A-Cut-Above-H-A-cut-diamond-636692.htm#
Trying not to add any $$ to it. That stone you linked is one on my list. What did you think of the other stones on my other post? Any others stand out?

I wonder why it''s AGS 1 for cut grade. It looks nice.

The crown angle is 34.8 on the report, but the sarin report measured it as 34.7, so sarin quotes it at AGS0 and on HCA it hits the AGS0 area. It is a great buy! I''ve got to talk to Lesley today and figure out what to do with my other $$ that would be part of this upgrade.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I currently have a .838 F/VS2 that has a few clouds I can see from an angle. I have it set in a micropave ring with legato head from WF. That's where the new stone would go.

Soooo, I am thinking about changing to this stone. THEN, that will leave me with $1820 worth of credit at WF. That is the difficulty. I'm trying to decide what to do with that other money.

That sounds wonderful... I loved this stone but decided to go a little bigger (because I am placing it on a 6mm band). This stone looks PERFECT!!! I hope I don''t see anything weird in my J/SI1.... How long have you had your other stone? WOOOO

since August. I had a G/SI1 before that and I felt it was more eyeclean actually.

Woooo I have often heard that it just depends on the stone. I don''t have an H&A and am soooo excited to get one. I hope this J/SI1 is all I am hoping it is.... The cut is Very good, not excellent like the first one but they assure me it is a beauty. Why did you change the first time? Could you post your rings :) I am excited to see ...

I changed the first time because I thought I would prefer the F over the G, and it was also a step up in clarity being a VS2 instead of a SI1.

Here is my first stone:

As I understand it, it has to go toward diamonds only, not settings or the like.

And thanks for the compliment...

Cinnamon, why don''t you get a bigger stone? I think they can change out the head of your current ring for a moderate price... I know Maisie has done that with her legato sleek line each time she upgraded and she said it was about $150. (I didn''t read all your other threads so sorry if this is an issue you already addressed).

GREAT Idea... Are we talking about 4000.00. WOOOOO A BIGGER DIAMOND :)

Yes, I would go a bigger stone. My current stone was $4100. There is nothing in inventory right now that I would choose that is larger, though around that price range. I know Ellen looked for me as well. My hubby won''t let me add much money to it right now.

The one woobug linked to I''m staying away from because of the "clouds" listed on the AGS report. Maybe wrongly so, I don''t know. I''ve just learned I don''t have a lot of tolerance for them so I need to understand that''s part of my limitations.

From the top down, my stone I have now is very pretty. It has terrific symmetry and wonderful fire. I just don''t like the cloud thing. Lesley gave me some insight when I asked her about another stone, saying it really isn''t a proper way to view a stone, and I understand this. But for my ring, I really want to make sure I don''t see it often. On this stone, I see it when I''m typing at my keyboard (this light is perfect for it). It''s sort of "sandy" and causes a brownish/yellow thing to be seen.

Do you have to do the upgrade now or can you wait until more stones come into inventory?

If you can''t wait, I would use the extra money for some ACA studs. If you can wait, I might wait for a larger diamond.

I can wait. I just think this stone is a really good buy. I am waiting on an email from Lesley and to discuss with her so I can make a decision.

If you don''t want clouds you don''t want clouds! Everyone has their own preferences and you should get what you want!

If I were in your shoes (which I''m not of course, so take this or leave it) I would tell WF what you want and then wait for the right stone to come in that is bigger (maybe) and uses your whole budget. That said, if that $1800 is only gonna get you an extra 10points, then maybe it is better spent on some studs!

There, that wasn''t helpful at all in the end! haha

I look at my diamond from the top, side, and every angle in between. It''s an 1.5 ct F VS2, and I am delighted that I never see any inclusions or clouds. (My stone has a couple of black carbon spots that can be seen easily from the top with a loupe, but are way too tiny to be seen otherwise.) I can understand the industry having a viewing standard for inclusions, but to tell the owner how to view her diamond is ridiculous. You are well within your rights to get a stone that is clean from all normal viewing angles. And, sitting at your keyboard typing is certainly a normal activity where you can glance down and see your diamond. I''d wait until the right stone comes along for you.

Fly girl, you are awesome. Thanks for the words. Made my evening...
