Woman shoots 12yr old Boy...

Just saw this on our local news cast, and had to post. Kids are HORRIBLE these days... (still not sure that I would resort to a gun, but I am not in my 70's, so who knows what I would do.)

Neighbors say that the woman has been terrorized by this boy and his friends for a while, and she hit her breaking point when he began throwing bricks thru the windows of her home and apprently AT her as she stood on her porch.

She shot at them, striking on of the boys.

His friend said he thinks that the shooting was uncalled for. (on a video)
His grandmother says, "He and his friends were just walking by the house and the woman began shooting at him." THAT seems logical...

Where the heck are these kids parents?! This has been going on for weeks?!

He sounds horrid, but it's never ok to SHOOT A CHILD. It's an awful thing to be harassed, but guns aren't the answer! Press charges against the family, take them to court for damages or something. This woman is an idiot!

If her story is true and the boys have really been terrorizing her for weeks, i say he deserved it. it's not like she killed him.

eta: i just read that they tried to burn her house down? dude, she's 70! she probably doesn't even have the energy or resources to sue the parents for damages. And if a brick actually struck her on the head? the kid deserved it.
