Thank you for posting this.. good blog.. I read all the precog predictions :) the one where he said that boomers will be unloading I found interesting.. boomers are as young as 49 and as old as 68.. still wearing jewelry, maybe not buying as much OR maybe buying more expensive.. millenials are somewhat driving the 'old' faze.. (not my fave obviously although some art deco pieces are sublime)... branding... interesting line when he mentions that an entrepeneur/owner would rather have a good idea.. I think that probably true. I do think millenials will want retread jewelry, it will mean more to a millenial that her/his/whomever diamond was a retread rather than newly mined.. one thing I have to say about millenials is they are mellower than boomers.. no rush, no hurry.. (I am the mother of 2 smackdab in the middle of millenial millenials)... jewelry will always be desired.
