I posted a thread last year on moisturizers I believe, but I'm wondering if anyone's found any new favorite products since. I'm once again looking for a great moisturizer (by the way, how did I go through so many years using Clinique? It's awful!!). Any recs?

My MIL sent me the Boots No.7 Protect & Perfect set from HSN as a gift last year. I decided to try them after a bad reaction from the eucalyptus in C de la Mer. I have used the products for a month now... the face serum is awesome. My combo skin soaks the serum leaving my skin with a beautiful glow without being greasy. Just got No.7 Protect & Perfect lip cream with shea butter, one application in the morning makes my lips quite soft without being waxy, no more chapsticks for me :))

I'm always on a quest for moisturizers, especially now. I've been using Caudalie Vinosource Quenching Sorbet-Crème for the past month and I've been really happy. It works well under my foundation during the day, too.

I'm with Lulie - Boots No.7 protect and Perfect is amazing - serum, day moisturizer, night moisturizer, toner, cleanser... it's all wonderful and affordable. The 'problem' with this product, is my skin does NOT look lovely and dewey like my 18 year old daughter... and my mirror is broken, too, because in my head - I, too, am 18 and look fabulous.

mmmm--- must go order new mirrors for the holidays----!!

My skin is super dry and the only moisturizer I can successfully use in the winter is Eucerin original moisturizing creme (in the white tub). It is heavy though so really best for very dry skin and it is very protective and calming.

Another vote for Boots!
My skin is quite dry and sensitive. I use Gentle Foaming Face Wash, Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner [nose] followed by Protect & Perfect Intense Serum then Advanced Hydration Day or Night. W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L.

I think these products fall in the moisturizer category!
I just got this little lip and hand duo from sephora...

http://www.sephora.com/browse/produ...on't know why my link isn't working. Oh well.

I really like olay regenerist SPF 50.

I am obsessed with Kiehl's products. Last year I discovered their Cryste Marine cream and Midnight Recovery oil, both of which I love for winter skin.

I also use Aquaphor for the dry, scaly patches I sometimes get around my mouth and chin.

I second the Kiehl's...it's pricey, but it takes such a small amount each day/night that the tubs last 6-8 months.

I carry the little flat tin of Nivea with me all the time.. it's great because it's small and when I am out and about and washing my hands like a crazy person.. it's tucked into a pocket or my purse or briefcase.. I by them by the dozen... Sometimes hard to find but they are about the size of a silver dollar.

I am really liking Yes To Carrots right now. I have the body wash, face lotion, body lotion and the ultra thick body butter. It smells really good and it works. I usually just use the body butter on my hands as they get dry and crack quite easily in the winter. Plus, it's mostly organic and paraben-free.

I'm sure I've said it before, but I love Aquaphor. It's a gel. I usually use it on my lips, but when winter hits I rub it into my cuticles and hands every morning and it keeps my hands soft and smooth. If you can get over the initial greasy feeling (it's NOT greasy, butyouknowwhatImean) it's perfect. And cheap!

That's funny B.E.G as I love Clinique!! It guess it just depends on your skin hey?

I have been using it for 12 years and people always comment on how gorgeous my skin is. I have a friend that we see often and without fail, she tells me that my skin is looking fantastic as usual. I have tried countless other ones, and I just keep coming back to the famous yellow bottle.

Hope you find something that works for you too =)

For body, I love the Body Shop's body butters - the richest are the nut ones - like Brazil Nut (I'm in Canada). Work great and smell great too.

I (used to??) have a little keratosis pilaris ("chicken skin") on my upper arm, but it's almost totally gone since I started a little routine of exfoliating and moisturizing it. The routine: I exfoliate the areas a few times per week in the bath with a washcloth and a mix of St. Ives Apricot Scrub and Olay Age Defying Daily Renewal Cleanser (I used it for face too, very nice). After the bath, I moisturize the problem area with Vaseline Problem Skin Therapy cream (it's very rich). After a few cycles of this, the bumpy skin was almost gone, and i was super surprised!

For face, I don't have a great plan yet. I used to love love love St. Ives facial moisturizer with beta hydroxy acid (kept flaky winter skin away, and so cheap too!) but they discontinued it a few years ago and I have not found a good replacement!

For eye area, I loved Marcelle's rich eye cream/gel (I forget its name), it was rich almost to the point of being oily (but not quite), but never caused issues with eye make up, so it was perfect! But same thing, it got discontinued and their new lines have nothing similar.

Boo.
