Hello,
I saw a 0.71 GSI2 loose stone with GIA cert and is selling for US$2000, with EX/VG polish symmetry. However, I have some conflicting infomation from another jewelry shop.
He claimed that once when I set the stone,(in ring or pendent) the grade (may) or will drop to SI3 or I1 because the inclusion (feather) is situated between the star and bezel facet and will cause the feather to spread further.

Also, I wondered is it a good price as I have never thought of purchasing a S1 2 stone before. Any advice would be much appreicate. Thank you

Additional info I copied from the GIA cert.

People should listen to their own warning signels. You were listening. The jeweler that told you that was doing his best (worst) to kill a sale by some other jeweler. He was telling you a big fat untruth. You should tell all of your friends what he is doing and maybe help him close his doors. It is guys like him that give us all a bad name.

Thanks for your feedback, dimonbob.
When I look at the stone with the cupid cut loupe, It does produce a H&A pattern, though not as crisp as those I seen at your website. I wanted very much to have ex/ex but it's not easy to find in Singapore and IF i can find, it usually cost quite a bit. The jewelry companies here uses the rapaport together with the exchange rate of US$1 = S$1.75 and minus 16% off. So I thought this stone might worth a 2nd look... until the sales manager from the other jewelry shop told me when the stone is set, because of the claw which is holding the stone that will exert pressure and thus, create a bigger feather as a result. I wondered are there any truth to this? Any comment from the experts here would be grateful. Thank you.
