Will my 7mm round fit in this 7mm cushion?

I also have a 6.7mm round. Is that too small?

Anybody have problems with this setting?

I was going to upgrade to 18k gold and upgrade the diamonds.

Even if it fits, you will most likely see the metal basket gaps below the stone quite clearly.

Hmm, that doesn't sound very nice I thought I'd seen someone else set a round in this semi-mount and it looked great... oh well.

Yes and the prongs might have to bend inwards to accommodate the stone. Personally I do not like the look. I have a 7 mm cushion peridot from gene that I set into this mount. I think that a 7.2mm cushion will be perfect fit.

I’ve seen rounds (or rounded oval) in cushion settings here too; it depends on the sensitivity of the wearer. Some people must have the stone fit just right and for others, close enough is good enough.
