WIll blue flour help this J colored diamond

would this be a crazy diamond for an engagement ring? The price is so darn good- i am hoping that the very strong blue flour might help the J color.

What are the chances of an si2 graded by GIA being eyeclean?

I am thinking carat size is the most important criteria for me!

That''s quite a huge rock. And the inclusions seem to be right under the table where they might be visible. The ''darn good'' price suggests this to be less than eyeclean so I would proceed with caution if I were you. Any chance of actually viewing the diamond or at least get a few good photos of it from SB?

Ditto.

The flor will help the diamond appear whiter in sunlight, but it is still goingto be a J color diaond in other lighting environments. Not a bad thing, but you need to be comfortable with the slight tint (a warm beige color in most lighting, when it shows).

I would love some help from experts. i have a budget of about 6k total, and would like to find a 1.5 carat diamond for about 5-6k.

i know that sounds crazy, but carat weight is just the most important C to me. I am willing to sacrifice on color (I or J) and even clarity (eyeclean is proabably a dream, but maybe not so noticable inclusions).

Anyone have any good diamonds they have seen from solomon bros, abazias, etc. Preferably gia cert...

If you must insist in having a 1.5 carat at a minimum of J color, you''re going to sacrifice a helluva lot in clarity and cut - in fact, two of the most important among the 4Cs, and quite possibly settling for I1 which for a stone of this size, is highly inadvisable. Perhaps you could consider raising that budget by another $800-1000? Or go lower in color, say to K or L? Btw many of us have found out that a well cut stone often looks bigger than its carat weight, and a right setting can make a stone look big. Just some food for thought.

Its not a crazy diamond at all, J colour is perfectly acceptable and the clarity could be fine too IF eyeclean. You would need to ask Soloman''s to call the diamond in to inspect it for you concerning this and with that angle combo an Idealscope image would really be useful but I don''t think Soloman''s offer this service, no harm in asking them though. The J colour might help the J face up a little whiter in some lighting conditions.
