Who would you use for a plain solitaire setting?

I haven't seen anything "pre-made" that I like for a simple solitaire, so I'll probably have to go custom.
I don't want to spend a fortune, but I want something that is made perfectly in every respect.
Any suggestions?

What is your budget?

I love my Vatche 6-prong Solitaire setting. Got the idea from DS. I happened to read a post in which she recommended another PSer this setting. Highly recommend it. I have seen other less expensive choices, but the Vatche setting is worth every penny. I love its fine, elegant look and quality. The ring looks and FEELS luxury quality.

lots to think about! I would like to spend around $2000 or less.

... I need to add Junemo's set as well. This is also by Leon Mege. It even has an octagonal donut:

For your Asscher? I would at least contact ERD.
You may find some inspiration in the thread from LLJsmom: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/show-me-your-solitaires-please.197346/
Some of my personal favourite solitaires are the Boston Jeff by Leon Mege and the Trueste by Victor Canera:

thanks, Acinom.
yes, for the asscher, I mean the square emerald cut
I'm glad to get advice. I thought I had talked with SK before, but it was Victor, and the Trueste is the kind of setting I'm looking for.
i gather making a plain setting isn't rocket science, but then again, it almost can be with all the little nuisances.

I'm hesitant to work with Leon because of what I've read here.
and as much as I love my vendors - I don't know if they are the place to have a setting made. I'm not putting them down, I just don't know.

that Vatche Caroline is pretty close!

btw-I thought you would like this...[I posted it elsewhere, but you may not have seen it].
When I took my SEC to my jeweler to show him, another jeweler there proudly brought out the "asscher" they had handpicked for a client. It was obvious that they were trying to impress me that they could get better stones than I could. Or maybe they were just being kind - showing me what a real ideal cut asscher looks like =)
First they said it was a "GIA Ideal Cut Asscher" which I explained it couldn't be [so they ran to get the cert. to show me - whoops]
It was top color & clarity, but poor performance. I told them it was pretty but had P3 issues, but their client would probably never know the difference. You would have been proud of me - I think I was channeling you a bit =)

I like the Vatche's I have seen at GOG~
