I think that seniority on the list should have something to do with who gets chosen, and since it sounds like equestrienne and LP have a bit longer than you before they get engaged, I think you should have a turn.

First, LP, you''ve done a great job filling in for Freke while she''s been away!

Second, I think everyone who''s been nominated will do a fantastic job, but considering the ''magical properties'' associated with being a listkeeper, should the job go to someone who has little to no idea when their proposal is coming but thinks it may be soon? That way, the **dust** can really come into good use! Just a thought.

Either way, whomever''s up next will do a great job!

In the past, whomever is highest on the list and wants the position gets it. I don''t think its ever come down to a vote but who am I to say no to the rules. However for reference sake it has been the highest on the list...

I'm looking forward to it being my turn, but I totally understand the seniority thing, especially since Alexis is expecting a proposal before me. Maybe I can get some dust accumulating by being the assistant list keeper for a while--seems to have worked for Freke!

For whatever it''s worth, I think that you would be a fantastic listkeeper, however, I think that you make a good point ... Alexis would be wonderful as well and all the dust remnants might just move up your engagement date.
