Who makes double halo settings?

I'm looking for a double halo setting for a radiant or emerald cut. I've seen one that I like, but I have a feeling they are overcharging for the completed ring, and it has no designer name so I can't verify. I don't want to go custom on this, simply because this is a gemstone ring and we're trying to keep costs down. The completed ring is $1700, and I know this sapphire did not cost nearly $900.

Does anyone know of a manufactured setting that looks like this? Or is it possible to have this custom made for the listed price? I appreciate the help. I did some googling but it seems that the double halo is not common?

I am not sure about your price points or quality expectations, but check out these ebay vendors

The first two are the same person with different stores and often different merchandise and prices. He will customize the ring to fit your stone for a nominal fee ($30) and you have some control over the quality of diamonds and KT of gold used, I had one made that was two toned. I have purchased 4 settings in total from them and overall was pleased.

The third vendor I purchased the setting "as is" without customization and was happy with it.

These vendors are in China and language barriers can be a problem, if you keep your questions concise you will get a better experience with less confusion.

I noticed you had gemstones set in the inside halo, I am not sure if the above vendors do that, but you could always ask...they do sell settings with gemstones already set (center stone) so you may be surprised.

Keep in mind cheaper settings will not be as substantial in weight as more expensive custom ones. I would guess you should not expect much more than 4 grams total.

Also you should post this in the coloured stone forum. They have a wealth of knowledge regarding budget friendly settings for coloured stones.

That ring/setting is LaurieSarah?? on Etsy... it's beautiful. Try ebay sellers such as LOGR, Lan.boa..... or ask your local jeweler how much they would charge for a design like this....

It is LaurieSarah, but I'd been told by a few local people who got rings from her that they felt they overpaid.

Hence why I was looking for a comparable setting. But I may just tell him to source a sapphire himself and buy the semimount from her for $850. Even if it's a little expensive, he's not the type to deal well with language barriers or long waits so maybe it's better this way. It is really lovely and I have my heart set on it, and the price is fine I just wanted to see if the price was fair.

The weight is fine, this is to be my engagement ring and I don't need absolute top of the line right now, we're planning on an upgrade later. I just really liked the setting, and didn't see much else similar even in the designer settings.

$900 for a pink sapphire? what is the carat weight? and what treatments has it had? I would probably get the setting from the ESTY artist but source my own pink sapphire. This means you will have to buy the sapphire first and then the setting. It is a beautiful piece. I think she hand makes all her pieces which would explain the prices. She did an asscher double halo with a CZ center for another pricescoper which was really impressive.

Keep us posted!

I am in love with that ring!! Very original! I would have my boyfriend order it in a heart beat only I'm nervous to order it online and it end up looking nothing like the picture. Did you end up getting the ring? If so, is it as beautiful as the picture? How was it going thru Laurie Sarah?
Thanks for your post!!
