Who has a good selection of sweater dresses?

I've found that my favorite at-work cold weather outfit is a sweater dress with leggings, but for some reason my Google skills have been pretty worthless when it comes to finding good deal and good selections. Can you help a sister out?

Do you have to wear slips underneath your sweater dresses? I have one that is very clingy* & just got another for Xmas (same prob!). I've taken to wearing another dress underneath as a "slip". Just curious!

I'm plus sized so I don't think my sweater dress links will help you!


ETA: * "clingy" as in static cling ... not as it "too tight" -- both are very loose on me -- but tend to want to grab my tights or leggings that I wear underneath them ... if that makes sense?!!

I don't wear slips under mine, but I could see how they would cling. Sometimes mine gather in my crotch (very pretty sight, lemme just tell you).

I love sweater dresses! I wear them all the time.

I have a few that tend to become clingy due to static, so I rub the inside of those with a used dryer sheet before I put them on. Then I tuck the dryer sheet in my purse just in case I need it again.

I've actually found some really cute sweater dresses at Target. A few of them were a bit shapeless, so I added details at the waist on them by sewing in a few tucks, or I wear them with a thick belt. I wear a lot of my sweater dresses with a thick belt, actually.

Macy's has great sweater dresses, as do Loehmann's and Nordstrom. I don't know if Loehmann's is nationwide, but you can often find some great items there.

I love, love, love a good sweater dress--especially when paired with leggings, a funky necklace, and boots. I suggest looking at Shop Style and searching for sweater dresses to see what is out there. I generally shop consignment/ebay/thrift, but most of mine seem to be department store brands, so Macy's or Nordstrom are good leads.
