Hello,

I'm a newbie (first post!) but I've lurked for a bit on Pricescope as most of my Googled questions lead me to results in the Pricescope forums.

I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of or links to rings that are white gold (or platinum) but with a rose gold basket/prongs? I'm not looking for a halo, more like this James Allen design. James Allen has been the only website I've been able to find something like this.

Thanks in advance!

I just googled "white gold ring with rose gold prongs" and there were pages of images you might want to scroll through.
I'm sure with many of the PS vendors here you can find a ring you like and have it made with the metals you want =)

I'd recommend the opposite arrangement unless you have a pink diamond. The rose gold prongs may reflect in the diamond, and generally people prefer to let the diamond show and not have a colored reflection in it. I always recommend white gold or platinum for the basket unless the diamond is light yellow and then a yg bezel or cup may enhance that color, and a brownish pink or pink diamond can be enhanced by a rose gold bezel or cup.

Thank you for the response, that's very interesting The reason I was thinking about that is because I will most probably end up with an I or J diamond and I was told by multiple people that those should be set in yellow or rose gold. I'm confused now...
