They both seem to be a good value. Have you actually seen the stones? I would be interested to see how noticeable the inclusions are in the first one.

Diamond #1, 1.24 cts.

Sorry about the size of the picture!...I''m not too good at this!...

On second one, my guess is that 60% stars with 85% LGF can give a lot of obstruction in this slightly shallow combo.

First one needs an IdealScope picture.

Diamond #2, 1.10 carat...

Thank you for your reply..No, I haven''t seen the stones. Am buying from one of this site''s linked on-line jewelers.....should I repost the pictures a bit larger or is there no benefit in seeing such pictures?..

These are from JA right? Just request for an Idealscope image for both of them and post the images here once you receive them. Requesting an idealscope image will also put the stones on hold for you and then you can link the stone here without fear of loosing the stones.

Yes they are....and I just requested Idealscope images for them both. Will post them here once I receive them and look forward to more feedback. Thank you all!! Diane

Do you have idealscope images? The red pictures. Those are what we really need to see.

Have you confirmed that the SI2 is eye clean to YOUR standards? Make sure.

The stones differ a lot in their lgf. That is why the arrows look so different, notice the second ones are thinner than the first? This affects the diamonds optics a little too, some like the look of one over the other. Search for lgf and you will find threads discussing this stuff.

It is also important to know what the grade making inclusions are in SI clarity grades, if clouds then these need careful checking by a gemologist to make sure they aren''t dulling the stone.
